PARLIAMENT

PARLIAMENT

In the 1970s, George Clinton’s Parliament collective launched funk into orbit and Leatheracci built the suits that made it look cosmic.

Calvin Durham’s creations combined mirror-bright vinyl, studs, and hand-cut leather panels engineered to catch stage lights like satellites.

Each outfit was a declaration: funk deserved couture. Those outfits blurred the line between costume and construction, proving Leatheracci could go anywhere, from psychedelic clubs to Parliament’s mothership stage.

The same ethos continues today: bold design, handmade detail, and zero gravity on creativity.
